Tips on Stress

  • Relax by a fire, or find a comfortable place to put your feet up and turn it all off.
  • Read a good book or listen to your favorite music and have a glass of wine (close your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes).
  • Meditate twice per day – you only need to meditate for 5 minutes. Aim to work your way up 10 minutes twice per day.
  • Exercise – find time where you can be more physically active.
  • Go outside and take in the fresh air – observe the beauty around you.

With the growing degree of uncertainty in our nation, it is no real surprise that individuals are feeling higher degrees of stress. You are not alone. For men especially, life can seem particularly overwhelming as you strive to juggle work, family, health and a good relationship with your significant other. Stay in tune with yourself and look for symptoms that may be a sign to begin changing your situation.
